About Parul Yadav

Born on the 5th of June 1989, Parul is an Indian actress, who has worked with A-list actors in several South Indian movies and also been a part of Indian television’s reality shows. She acted opposite multilingual super stars, such as Dhanush, Prithviraj and Sudeep. Parul is a versatile actress, who easily fits into the glamour doll role as well as performance-oriented characters.

She is best known as the “Pyaarge Girl”, all because of her hit song Pyaarge Aagbittaite in the super-hit film Govindaye Namaha, her debut Kannada movie in 2012. This record-breaking song crossed over 1 million views on Youtube and has been extremely popular in the U.S and is also the most downloaded Kannada movie video song. The movie was screened for more than 100 days and set a history for a comedy movie by grossing over INR 8-9 crores in revenue.

Parul has also acted in Malayalam movies; in one of them, she was paired with the Malayalam super star Prithiviraj. In 2013, her movie Bachchan in which she was cast opposite Kicha Sudeep directed by Shashank was a blockbuster. The film grossed over INR 15 crores and had completed over 50 days of box office success.  The audience and media had much appreciated her role and acting.

Her next movie, which is currently under production, is Shivajinagara opposite Kannada action star Duniya Vijay, produced by Ramu Creations.

Parul showed her dancing skills by performing to 4 popular songs at the prestigious South Indian International Movie Awards (SIIMA ) in 2012 in Dubai. Her performance was widely appreciated and she also won accolades for her costume and fashion sense. She walked the ramp for the ace designer Shravan Kumar. Also her red carpet outfit, designed by Nishka Lulla, attracted attention.

She has been nominated for several awards in the year 2012-2013 for her performance in Govindaya Namaha. She was accorded with the “Lux Glamour Icon of the Year – 2013 award’, by Suvarna TV, one of the leading south Indian entertainment TV channels.

Following her popularity and rapid rise in the south, she was included in the “Most Desirable List of South India Actresses -2013” by the Times of India.

Parul has also endorsed sarees for “Kalamandir.”  She was also the brand ambassador for the team “Telugu Warriors” in the Celebrity Cricket League in the year 2012.

Vaastuprakara a big budget movie by Yograj Bhat followed by RGV’ Killing Veerapan has taken her places.
